June 27- 6th Annual Red, White & Jackson

Jackson Chamber of Commerce & Downtown Jackson Partners presents: The 6th Annual Red, White & Jackson event. The community will gather in downtown Jackson on Thursday, June 27th ,  to celebrate America’s Independence.  Marking the sixth year of the event, Red, White & Jackson has drawn thousands to a family friendly environment in the Capitol City. Residents will not want to miss this year’s event hosted by the Jackson Chamber of Commerce & Downtown Jackson Partners. 
11a.m. – 1p.m. at Smith Park in downtown Jackson: It will begin with free food, beverages and live entertainment by Dexter Allen Band.
7-9p.m. the event will move to the front of the Old Capitol Museum:  Where the community will be treated to: a spectacular firework show; Celebrity cook-off; food vendors, Smiley the Clown; Childrens Activities: crafts and space jump, face painting; and tours of the Old Capitol Museum.
The purpose of the event is to celebrate the Fourth of July, bring citizens and families from surrounding communities to downtown Jackson and honor our local military and law enforcement.

July 4- Celebrate America Balloon Glow
Good music, beautiful hot air balloons, and spectacular fireworks will again provide an evening’s entertainment for the entire family at this year’s Celebrate America Balloon Glow, a Ridgeland Independence Day tradition for twenty-three years. The annual celebration will take place this year on July 4 at presenting sponsor Northpark Mall‘s balloon glow field, with plenty of parking around the mall for the thousands who gather each year.  
July 4- 24th Annual Fireworks Extravaganza & Cruisin’ Clinton Bike Ride
Come celebrate our country’s independence in a day long event beginning with the Cruisin’ Clinton Bike Ride. Enjoy featured performances and great food while the children play in the Play World area where they will have a blast! The best part of the night is the spectacular fireworks show. You definitely want to be a part of this Clinton tradition.
